St. Peter School on Capitol Hill, an Archdiocese of Washington Catholic school, is seeking a Middle School Religion, History, and Latin Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The Teacher will serve as the sixth-grade homeroom teacher and will be responsible for instructing sixth through eighth grade students in Latin, US history, world history, and in the Catholic faith using a standards-based curriculum and National Latin Exam preparation materials. Additionally, and in conjunction with the parish Director of Religious Education, the teacher also will be responsible for overseeing seventh and eighth grade preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
